The current market is making it hard to find a good building job or construction job and that builders are now only hiring the best people who apply for jobs. This means that you must have your resume and cover letter in order and list your work experience to get a job. There are many building jobs such as carpentry, building, estimating, etc and they offer good pay and the opportunity to learn good skills an to participate in building nice new buildings.
Hopefully in 1-2 years the building market will turn around and this will mean an increase in building jobs and construction jobs and apprenticeships. If you are interested in doing an apprenticeship now is the time to get your training so that you are fully qualified by the time the industry experiences another boom.
